Which lens out of these?

Hi guys,

I'm soon to start shooting motorbike racing but realise that my Bigma 50-500mm wont be up to scratch.

Can anyone recommend a lens for under £1000?

So far i've looked at:

Sigma 300mm f2.8 APO HSM (NON DG VERSION - Used)
Tokina AT-X 300mm f2.8 PRO
Sigma APO 120-300mm F2.8

My current set up is: Nikon D2X, Nikon D40X, Sigma 50-500mm, Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8, Nikkor 18-55mm, SB-600.

Yeh a few people i've asked have recommended that I go for that and i'm more than happy with the quality i get from my 50-500mm.

Why would the Bigma not be up to it? All these were Bigma shots.

I have the Nikon 70-200 2.8G AF-S VR and it is spot on for sport
and if you shop around you can pick it up for £1000
 
My Nikon owning friend who shoots cars n bikes with me uses the Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR and the Nikkon 300 F4.

300 primes take a bit of getting used to, but deliver the biz..

One of each makes for a good motorsport camera bag :D
