Looking for help and guidance, as per usual!!
I have a D40 and love it, I have thought of changing to a different model in order to use non Af-s lenses but having thought about that I realised that I would be getting older technology so am better to stick with D40 I feel and just fork out for the lenses. I did have another post about that.
I have just got ( last week) a new 50mm Af 1.8, now this will not auto focus on my D40 , I find it too hard to manual focus, even though I thought it would not be too bad, especially with my son moving so fast.
I have done a lot of research today including visiting a shop.
I have the following decision to make now, I will obviously be selling the 50mm AF 1.8 as it is no use to me.
Do I get a 35mm Af-s 1.8 or a 50mm Af-s 1.4
Do not really care about the cost. I want what is going to be best for me , and that is taking indoor pictures of my son.
Any help appreicated, if anyone has examples of pictures with both that would be great.
Thanks
Michael.
