Hi All,
I'm currently saving for my first DSLR and am leaning towards the Canon 40 and have been advised to buy the body and the lens separately.
I just wanted to check which is the best lens to get based on the the areas I'm interested in - portraits / street photography / food.
Do all lenses work on Canon cameras or only certain types? I keep reading things like Sigma and nifty fifty and haven't a clue where to start!!
Or I better off getting a kit lens to start off with until I know what I'm doing?
