Which monitor?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but it seems to fit in here as well as anywhere else, so here it is.

My 26'' Samsung monitor has given up the ghost and needs replacing.

Looking on-line 27'' seems to have replaced the old 26'' so what's any good?

I'm going to put a reasonable budget on this of £250. I know there are plenty of more expensive ones out there, but considering my mid range Samsung cost me £250 3 or 4 years back and technology marches on quickly I think I will be more than happy in the same price bracket I think.

So what's out there and what do you recommend?

I have recently purchased a Dell Ultrasharp and it is really good. There are quite a few to choose from and I'm sure there isone in budget if you buy fromthe right place. I can't remember who I bought from but they were a UK company and the chaeapest by far. If I remember I'll come back and post.
