which waterproof compact camera?

thanks

noticed panasonic have a new one out, but can';t find a decent place which stock old ones. likes of pc world, argos etc had it on sale.

i won't be taking it deep, just taking pics of the little one in the pool etc.

Yes, but if you ever do go to somewhere like Egypt, the Maldives or elsewhere where there are reefs, you could get a lot of enjoyment out of using it.

we won't be going anywhere exotic like that for years to come, especially with a new addition to the family. if we did, i'm sure i could afford a better one then LOL

p.s. wife doesn't like deep water and i'm not keen with swimming with fishes ;-)

so it really is for pool use

I'm surprised you're allowed a camera anywhere near a pool in these days of P**** paranoia!

i bought a vivitar 8mp camera with a waterproof housing from asda last year for our little holiday to grand canaria, only cost £35. a couple of sample pics..

not allowed them at some pools, but i was thinking when abroad on holiday, less strict, otherwise there would be no cameras at all (but i do agree in some circumstances)

good pics for £35!

has anyone seen any places with Panasonic FT1 in stock at good prices such as argos at circa £180 but sold out around me
