Probarly done to death on here and i apologise

Looking for a bit of advice before i rush out and buy something i regret . Looking to purchase a wideangle lens for my D3100 in the coming week and seem to have it down to the Nikon AF-S 10-24 or the Tokina ATX X12-24 PRO II . Slight difference in price but im willing to pay the extra if the Nikons really worth it . The extra 2mm does appeal to me as i seem to be doing mainly Landscape work but is it worth the extra ££'s...

Any other ideas, suggestions or words on these lenses ? :help:

Thanks

Chris

I used the sigma 10-20mm on my d3100, check out my london shots on Flickr to see how sharp it is.

11-16mm tokina is a tremendous lens!! when i was looking around review wise it was preferred and recommended over the similar lens....

The tokina 11-16 is said to bethe best on the market. I use a sigma10-20 which im happy enough with

Tokina 11-16mm for me too, when I say it's a good lens I mean it's a GOOD lens. On my scale Nikon 50mm and 35mm f1.8s are both meh lenses!
