Which would you choose?

I currently have a 5d1 a 35mm 1.4l, 85mm 1.2l ii and a 100mm is macro l. I have 1200 and want a second full frame body.
I do mainly weddings. My choice is narrowed down to a 5d2 or a 5d1 plus 135mm f2.

are you happy with the results that you are getting from your 5D? If so then get another 5D and a 135 (it's a beautiful lens). If not then what don't you like about it? If it's an AF issue then the mkII won't help and you'll need to look elsewhere. If it's noise issues then the mkII is better and would be worth going for. Any chance of you getting your hands on both of them to try?
 
I am happy with the results from the 5d. I would always like better noise handling though and I do like the idea of being to crop a lot when needed but I do like the idea of a 135 too. And then I do like the idea of messing about with video too....
Don't think I'd get a chance to try them.

I'm sure too. I think it was what I wanted all the time I was just getting anxious to get something and the l series primes are a big temptation. Never mind ill get the 135 some other time......and a 24....... and a 200.....
Oh dear.....
 
Oh well Christmas is just around the corner, maybe Santa could stump up for a nice 135L if you're a good boy :)

So now my new dilemma is which lens do I put on which body? I'm thinking the 85 on the 5d2 as I will have micro af adjust and can crop in for closeups too and then the 35 on the 5d1.

Does it matter? They're detachable, you know. ;)
