Whipsnade Mara

Hi All,

Took a trip to Whipsnade today which was my first trip out with the camera for a couple of months - I lost my photography mojo for a while there...

it was great to be taking pictures again and I have processed a few this evening. I usually ignore the free roaming mara but made an attempt to photograph them today - there are the results - C&C Welcome:

They are running around all over the place aren't they?
and as such over looked but they can be quite photogenic.

Thanks Cobra - yep, they are absolutely everywhere and don't mind posing if you are nice and calm on approaching them. Have definately overlooked them in the past but I was finding them quite endearing yesterday.

Like these, have to admit i never give them a second look, but you have done them justice here capturing some great shots, love the depth of field on them.

i think no 5 with some eye pp is the best of the bunch
good lighting but needs to have the contrast turned down a bit if possible
