White-necked (Pacific) Heron

The White-necked (Pacific) Heron was foraging in a swamp approximately 100 metres from where I hid behind a big gum tree.
They are such skittish birds that had I revealed myself by trying for a closer shot then it would certainly have taken off sooner.
