White spots on blue sky

Hello everyone I'm new to this site so please bear with me! I took some photos recently with my Canon 700D using Canon 75-100mm lens and in some shots I have noticed some tiny white specks in the blue sky, they are not always in the same place and theres only one in each photo......I'm sure it's not sensor dust as I've had the sensor cleaned and I know that sensor dust shows up as black not white and doesn't change position. I use a lens hood also. I have never seen this before and I'm thinking the camera may have picked up a few bits of debris in the sky such as cotton tree seeds etc. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ross.

Hi Ross and welcome to TP

Without seeing some examples of the difference images (you mentioned seeing the same(?) or similar white dots in different positions depending on the image.

So, do please post them..... if necessary get yourself a free Flickr site and link them here.

HTH :)
