Hi

Is it possible to use a screw in polarizer on the siggy 10-20 (77mm) along with a filter holder and an nd grad?

Does the holder adapter ring then screw onto the polarizer?

How do you rotate the polarizer front glass with the filter holder attached and still keep the nd grad line level?

Slighty puzzled of Dorset!

Cheers all.

With difficulty :)

At 10mm you are at major risk of vignetting.

I have to admit I don't use square filters myself, but I do use a circular ND Grad, I suspect that the same method can be used. You need to screw the filter holder most of the way in, but not so far that it binds. Then you should be able to carefully rotate the element of the polariser, whilst this unscrews the square filter holder. You have to be careful you don't go to far and it comes off though (i.e. don't rotate 720 degrees in one direction, rotate 180 CW, then 350 CCW to get back to 190CW )
