Wide angle lens

Hi all i am a beginner at photography, i don't think i'm that bad but i'm going to post some pics up soon so i can get some judgment. i have the Sony a35 with kit lens and the big beercan 70-300.
I want to get a wide angle lens for some nice landscapes. I just want to get some advice on what to get, budget is about £300 to £400. I'm the sort of person who would go for a bit more money to get better quality, but not go stupid with it.
Any advice would be great and very much appreciated.

You can get the sigma 10-20 for just over £300 from panamoz. There is also the faster version but that's a little over £400.

Yer I'll have a look, I'm getting better with all these numbers and letters next to the make and model of the lenses but it's all still really knew and confusing.
