Hi

I am new here and would really like some comment on my photographs please. They were all taken in Tanzania.

The "camping with Elephants" is just a snap, but interesting I think - it felt so at the time!


This one is a family of Elephants in Tarangire National Park.

Dawn at Simba Camp, Ngorogoro Crater

The last one should probably be on another forum I know but comments would be appreciated.

Luck you to have had such a great experience!

I think #1 is in need of a tiny levels tweak, to bring out the contrast a bit and maybe a touch more saturation for the colours (though I know hot places tend to be naturally bleached out by the sun).

#2 as you say, is a record of events and good for that purpose...I hope it wasn't your tent about to be trampled!

Your sunset is wonderful and I like the fact that I can just about see the tents..it gives it context.

Thanks for the comments, especially Photostar, when I eventually get used to Photoshop I will try to play with the images as you suggest. Regarding the tents, these were not ours but were very close! Amazingly he just stroll through the campsite without touching any tents.

#3 is fantastic. The other 2 do nothing for me really, except as a record.

BTW, sunset??? Did he not say 'Dawn at Simba Camp'
