Yes, it's the contrast that brings out the stones in the forground so well.

Beautiful shot - lots of elements to keep the eye interested: the pebbles, the waves coming in, the dramatic clouds in the distance, sunset. And I like the overall colour tone.

Kit .. it was taken just off the Dornoch Bridge (1/4 mile) at Meakle Ferry North and looking up the firth towards Bonar Bridge.
