Will increased importation costs increase cost of photography gear?

You wouldn't mind but how does that explain the USA being at the top of the list almost every time?

Actually it wasn’t on this iPad, it was down the bottom with U.K. In case I wasn’t clear “Germany” was in a completely separate “box” above the drop down and not in a drop down at all. Since it came from John Lewis’s rather than Apple it crossed my mind that it had been intended for the German market though I don’t see why that would make a difference and I’ve never seen it before.
