Windows 7 RAW thumbnail viewer...

Can anyone help?

I've just bought a new PC running Win7 and can not for the life of me find a free RAW thumnail viewer which is a royal PITA...

Anyone know anything I can download so when I look in Win Explorer I can see which image is which ?

Do be aware that the image you will be seeing will be the JPEG embedded within the raw file.

If you use DPP or Adobe something, why not just use that to manage your photos?

The raw files from my 1Ds are really odd - they actually have a .TIF extension, so they show up like real images in explorer with a thumbnail and all....
 
I could install DPP but never used it on my old machine once the RAW viewer was installed.

I have installed CS4's RAw viewer which works fine but if you have a couple of SD cards or files on the HD it is so much easier to be able to load up windows explorer and click through to see what is what.

I appreciate that it is just the embedded RAW that I am viewing but I know which file it is that I need to open :D

Trouble I have is I am carp, I take a load of shots to get one I am happy with and I don't delete much either so my HD has a lot of RAW files on it...

I suppose the other option is to rebuild the lappy and just use that for editing instead but it defeats the purtpose of buying a new PC lol...
 
Sorry dreamer, forgot to say I'm a tight *** and was loking for freeview, if I can't find one in the next couple of days will download that as for $10 it looks like it's just the ticket :D

Just install Picasa 3.6 and that's it done.... all your thumbnails will show up in your windows folders as the jpeg's do....
