Windows XP

Hey everyone

So help a guy out, where is the cheapest place to find a legit' copy of Windows XP?
I want to run Boot-camp on my MBP dual booting with windows XP so that I can play flight sim X (forgive me )

OR alternatively any one know of some half decent deals for desktops etc that would be capable of playing it?

I then you will struggle to buy a copy of it now to be honest as it goes out of mainstream support in 850 days from Microsoft. None of the OEM providers are selling it any more. Why don't you want win7?

Agree - it should be consigned to history

And a good history too. It was one of microsofts better efforts. I was a big fan of NT4 also! Win 7 definitely beats the lot though.

Pity the support for XP is going (if it does of course - the end of XP support has been announced before) - it is rock solid and doesn't get in the way.

itll go this time, i cant see them extending it again now 7 has proved itself as a business system.

Wondows 98!!!!!! Windows xp was full of ossues for me :-( windows 7 seems pretty reliable though....

Hey guys cheers for all the responses

Only reason I suggested boot-camping using XP is due to my many years previous experience using it! That said, my MBP has now decided it doesn't want to run boot camp and partition the HDD until a format, so thats slowed progress right down :angry:
