just a pity the twig got in the way of this thrush, spoils the shot.The temp outside was -10 so not much chance of me venturing to far

Hi Allan and welcome, lovely capture of this little guy. The only time the Bt`s around here sit and wait is when the Coal tits are buzzing about the place and they cannot get a look in.

Hya Allan,, i get trouble with twigs and branches too. Not a fortnight ago,, a Sparrowhawk swooped in and perched not 10 feet from me,,, with its whole head behind a branch. Yours is not a bad shot of the thrush, that's another sore point with me,,, thrushes,,, i can't get near them. :bang:
