Ok maybe someone in here can assist.
My brother in law has a HP mini 210 netbook. Fecently the wireless just dropped off the face of the planet.
Now when you start it up there is a BIOS error message that says - Wireless module (701) error - wireless module may not be functioning or installed correctly.
First thig I did was update the WLAN card drivers as well as updating the BIOS - but to no avail.
I've also tried a new network card but the same error keeps coming up.
Incase it was the bios causing confusion I reset it to factory setting but that hasn't worked either.
The network card doesn't even show in 'device management' so my only guess is the connection on the board may be to blame.
Can anyone else shed some light on this or offer assistance?
Cheers!
