Maybe a Yongnuo flash trigger with the optional shutter release? Shouldn't cost more than about £25 delivered for the RF-602 and can double as a flash trigger.
The 603s are also an option and means no CR2 battery. No idea on prices for these but when I need a 2nd 602 I'll probably go for a set of these instead as CR2s are a pain.
