Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could point me to a wireless shutter release unit that I could use with my D7000
I currently use a YN622-TX for my flash triggering mounted on the camera's hot shoe and the associated transceivers for my off camera flashes.
The Transmitter doesn't have a hot shoe pass-through on the top, so I cannot mount addition items above it.

I was pondering possibility of having a wireless trigger remote but so far I have only been able to find wireless shutter release systems where the receiver bit connects to the hot shoe, but they also don't have a pass-through either (that I've found so far), so I would not be able to use both at the same time. Below is an example I've seen but it doesn't have the top hot shoe mount...

I don't want to use the Infra-Red option of the ML-M3 thing, I'd rather go with 2.4GHz

Does anyone know of something which can be used at the same time as the YN622-TX?
Alternatively, is there a hot shoe splitter type thing which could mount both units at the same time? That would be cool...

I hope the above makes some sort of sense and I look forward to replies!

I used a Ojecoco H430TX on the camera and a H430RX for off manual camera flash on my Nikon D7000. Sat on top of the H430TX I use a Hama DCCS wireless remote receiver. The Ojecoco has morphed into the Commlite G430 which appears to be identical. It is reviewed here.

I have the Canon version of the YN 622TX and YB622Cs for my 5D2. I could use another YN622C (it's a transceiver) on the camera and adjust using the camera menu system instead of via the YN622TX interface, if I wanted to stack my HAMA wireless remote receiver. It's possible that the Nikon setup could be configured in the same way, if you are prepared to forgo the convenience of the YN622TX in these circumstances. Or just use some velcro on the tripod for the remote receiver and forget about stacking.
