Yes
These arn't the best shots in the world, but they're the best of a shed load I took earlier today. I have 2 kids (2 and 4 yrs) to tend to aswell as try and take pics so I think they turned out ok.

Just thought I'd share !

nice,

lucky to capture one.

we have absolutly loads where i live, but i never seem to have my camera with me or ready when i see one.

ive seen a few on our bird table and always flying about when i take the dog for a walk but i never get the chance to capture one.

It certainly shows how fast their heads move - I gives me a headache just to watch!

It's always nice to capture a woodpecker. It's vey hard at this time of year with low light and their heads moving so fast! That's an adult male with the red patch on the rear of the neck.

Thanks.

I find birds full stop, hard to capture. They're all so bloddy quick !

These were captured in a local woodland. Cheated slightly as theres a few bird tables and feeders just out of shot.

I've started using the burst mode now, when capturing birds as you stand more chance of getting at least 1 decent pic.

Nice capture, better than a hanging feeder shot much more natural.
