Wordpress help please

Hi probably being totally thick here (as usual with techno stuff), but today I deleted all of the pictures in 1 of my galleries on my wordpress site, I have replace these with other photos, but how do I make a thumbnail for that gallery on my portfolio page:shrug:. I presumed I could just grab a pic out of that gallery & drag it into place, but I am having no luck at all.

I think we'll need more details about which theme you are using as I don't remember galleries being part of the default wordpress theme.

yes, will need the theme, and what gallery plugin. If it is Nextgen, you can rescan the folder and generate thumbnails

If you have a cache plugin, you may need to re-build the cache

Ok thank for the info both, I had the sitre built for me using a bespoke theme etc so all above my head. Will get the bloke who built the site to help out.
