Ok I am building my business website with wordpress at the moment. I wanted it to look professional, streamlined and more of a commercial site than a photo portfolio one.
Now I have tried various different themes and finally settled on one that did what I wanted and looked how I wanted, but as with every theme I have tried it has an issue. This is the theme Striking theme
The main issue is that out of the four home sliders that it offers, for some reason the only one that will show any images is the flash 3d slider, which obviously has issues with all the Ipad and apple users out there. Apparantly it could have something to do with permissions to certain files on my hosting which I am trying to figure out at the moment.
In the mean time does anyone have any recommendation for any wordpress themes that are similar, but they have found to work well.
I have so far tried both free ones and premium and have not yet come across one that does not have some stupid issue.
Also if anyone is with 123-reg for hosting and knows how to change file permissions to 777 or 755 (whatever that means) let me know.
