Would this lens fit my sony?

I'm in desperate need of a wide angle lens as my landscapes are always frustratingly compact, and if I take a few steps back I get lots of crap in.

..anyway I found a lens on ebay (my first lens so don't wanna fork out too much yet). Now I know some minolta lenses fit my Sony Alpha 200 but i dunno which ones?

Nope, the MD mount is for a different type of minolta. Ignore MD and MC mounts, if I rmeember rightly it's the A-mount you want.

Yep, definitely A-Mount only for the Sonys I'm afraid.

A-Mount
Minolta AF (Auto Focus)
or MAF
