Saw this little tyke at the w/e. I thought he was hurt as he was scratching around in the undergrowth......

.... Then he upped and ran like stink under the tree.

I've seen the blackbirds do this in the garden, always seem to be in the full sun :shrug: Sunbathing?

Not sure, I tried to capture this one doing exactly as the one in your shot and you can see it still has it's tail feathers spread, I disturbed him. This one was sitting on some broken slabs.
