Hi all, new here and to DSLR's in general .... I didnt have anything like a huge budget but have been hankering after a half decent camera for ages, went to see the guys at LCE and ended up with a Sony a37 (liked the 7fps capability), kit lens, 80-300 and 25-80mm!

Planning to give it all a first outing at the Wyedean this weekend so would welcome ANY advice on the stages which offer the best pic opportunities, which stages to aim for (given the travelling time between them!) and finally any camera set up advice!

I appreciate I'm asking quite a lot but I want to make the best of the day and also give myself an idea of my skill baseline (or lack of) and begin to learn from my mistakes!!

Many thanks(y)

For a relaxed day try just two stages given the size of entry and the early finish. Serridge and Speech house are right next to each other and although heavily used every year are easy to find some suitable spots. The bigger the walk obviously the less people.
