Hi all, went for a walk in the pouring rain the other day, (Its good to be out again) Decided to take camera.

I see it. A small waterfall. I think a lower view point may have been better. But hey what do I know.
 
Oh good, so I havn't lost too many brain cells then,
I agree with the lower viewpoint, only thing is that is as low as the tripod I was carrying would go.
 
Glad you're up and about Gary. :thumb: It looks over-saturated on my monitor - a bit tropical rain forest?
 
This is my first go at using raw files and raw shooter essentials.
On the standard settings it was a little flat so i selected outdoor strong.
Any pointers to using raw files and converting them much appreciated.
 
Some of those settings are way to strong. Try selecting a flat appearance and using the Shadow and Highlight Contrast sliders for a more natural appearance. I usually do that before I think about trying anything else. :)

same here, I don't think it is oversaturated.
 
I like the effect of a long exposure time to water falls. :)
