Xi'an - Muslim Street Market

Xi'an has a Muslim quarter with its own street market. Here are a number of images, some of which are composed and others are taken with the camera hanging around my neck and pressing the shutter.

#1 - this is the start of the street market as seen from the Drum Tower

#2 - one of the many stalls, this one with dried fruit

#3 - chickens in the cockroach dance and the place was heaving

#4 - and if there are not enough stalls on the main street then you can go down here

#5 - Health and Safety Chinese style

#6 - making the dumpling mixtures, alternate uses for technology

#7 - Muslim lady and stall owner

Thanks John, you mean they don't make dumplings in a cement mixer in Woodford Green? You could start a trend.
