Taken with Yashica 50mm on reversing ring, just wondered what you thought.


 
It makes the lens able to focus really close somehow :) Thats a pretty good shot for reverse mounted :D , i could never get enough light to be able to see what i was focusing on! Any chance of a pic for scale?
 
Reversing ring is a ring that screws to the front of the lens and is able to screw into the camera thus making the lens attach to the camera backwards. Using the lens this way magnifies things. Using my 18-55mm lens i can make table salt look like ice cubes...
 
As to the original its almost the same there is little or no crop to the shot, just re sized for posting.

The item is a gold charm on a gold charm bracelet.
 
I was going to say that I remember those charms they were all the rage in the 70's My sister had a humongous charm bracelet and couldn't walk past a jewellers without buying another addition. The £1 note inside is one of the old out of circulation ones. Thanks for sharing :) This will not help for scale
