A few from August in Scotland on Kodak T-Max 100.

I know this isn't square but the top and bottom were boring so they had to go.

It's quite a big canal.

It's still a proper working canal.

And it does get fairly busy.

Just because its old doesn't mean it can't be useful.

And a mini lighthouse right at the end.

Thanks for looking and any comments, thoughts or critique much appreciated. (y)

Great set Andy. Lovely use of reflections in the first shot, contrast is lovely. The second one has a lot of empty space on the left hand side. Like the fishing boat in the third shot. I do like the shot of the lock gates, the jetty and path lead the eye in well. Nice shots of the winding gear and light house.

The first shot is the stand out of a very good set in my opinion. I don't think it would work as well square. It's wall hanger material for me :)

I do quite like the first one, but my interest in old junk (ahem, industrial archaeology?) makes me favour the fantastic winch, closely followed by the lighthouse. Lovely stuff.

I like those. The wide open space in the earlier ones feels right for the scene.
