Yellow Flower

Your thoughts please, a yellow flower in the garden, hand held first time i tried this sort of thing.

shot at 300mm, F/5.6, 1/320 sec, pattern metering

i like it, cant really see how you can improve it, perhaps change the composition slightly so your not quite so 'top down' on the flower, come at it from the side a bit more?

yeah i was stood over it, may try a small dof and a lower angle next time. Thanks

I feel that it is neither one thing or another - crop in to be a very close view of the stamen or include to complete flower. It need very careful composition and specimine to stand a partial crop like this. Pray for fine weather and experiment. Most in the garden after today are spoiltby the heavy rain.
