I use 'aperture' to tweak my photos. Any idea how i can tweak these to stop the grass from looking luminous yellow?

Not an aperture user ( Lightroom). But in Lightroom I would either drop the luminosity, in the yellow channel, or lower the yellow saturation. Alternatively a tweak in the hue may help, but off the top of my head I can't think if this would have the desired effect.

I don't use aperture either but I assume you can split the colour channels?
I turned up the Cyan in the yellow channel and that just about sorted it
It can be fine tuned from there
I won't post the result as yo don't have your edit box ticked

I have this problem with some of my shots as well, it seems to be time of year/sunlight dependant .

Typically I *fix* it using the hue/saturation tool :-

select yellow channel
Hue set to +5
saturation set to -30
lightness I tend to leave alone

Your shot comes out well with those settings (at least to my eyes on my monitor :))

ps. I miss the badger :(

post away :)

:D
You can have a luminous green instead of a luminous yellow

Or you can wash it out to a summer dry brown / green type thingy
I guess though you are aiming somewhere in between ?
I only spent a couple of minutes on them as my Post above
