Hi

Spent the day at Yeovilton on staurday. Managed to survive the heat and come away with a few images. Thought I would share a few. There are more on my flickr page if you wish to see them.

I only had a 200mm lens so must image are heavily cropped, but im quite pleased with most.

Any critique is always welcome.

Thanks for looking (y)

Well they look lovely and sharp, but on my laptop they do look a little washed out an in need of a vibrance boost..... BUT... could just be my monitor.

The prop planes could do with a bit of prop blur, maybe a slower shutter of say 1/200, but like i said they are really nice and sharp.

Well done on braving the heat, i was at Duxford and the heat element was a little llike hell to me!

Thanks Jonathan. Yes it was a scorcher. Lucky I had my hat :)

I was checking the images on the back of the camera but it was quite hard to see how well the prop blur was turning out. So I tried to vary the shutter between 125 - 250. Quite often forgot to change the shutter after shooting some jets and vice versa.

You are probably right about the vibrance. I always tend to turn it down, just prefer it that way, though I think most disagree. Should get in the habit of turning it up.

Thanks (y)

No probs.

Its easily done the fretting to alter settings. I do more often than i care to admit to myself!!

Considering they are crops like You say i have to admire their sharpness! And as for vibrance, that's a PP thing so nor really an issue
