We were at Corfe yesterday after a few days on the coast at Studland and there's a load of old blokes with big lenses crouching precariously on the side of a hill. Asks why, apparently a train coming. I had my Leica M10 - 35/f2 at the time, it's my standard walkabout , but fortunately had a Tele-Elmarit 90/f2.8 in my pocket. It's from the mid 1970s and I had it recallibrated a few years ago. A lovely little thing at 225g, 260g with filter and hood. Razor sharp with a slightly milky quality to it. Has been my favourite lens for a while.

I've used this lens very effectively on a Sony a7r, to which it's suited by it's very small size.

My son keeps on "borrowing" it from me. I have a more modern 135mm APO-Telyt M f3.4 that is more bulky.
