Hi guys, I signed up to this forum with the view of getting my first DSLR in the coming weeks. I will most likely just absorb as much knowledge as I can via the many experienced photographers on here and try and make the best decision I can!!
My brain in fried when it comes to looking for the right camera for me, but I have at least narrowed it down to a Nikon (My dad has a Canon 600D so I wanted something a bit different to his). Looking at possibly the D5100 as I don't think I would benefit from the D5200 and couldn't justify the jump in price - I can afford it but think a D5100 with a decent lens would be a better way of spending my money (I have about 6/700 in total to spend)
I will keep my options open though
