Yongnuo RF602 trigger compatability

Hello, I have an RF602 wireless transmitter/ receiver set from eBay, which I bought for use with my Canon 450D. I have recently put it up for sale and a buyer with a Canon 7D wants to know if it would be compatible with his camera. I'm not sure about this but someone can help me with this.

to trigger the camer or the flash?

The cables are different for pro/consumer bodies so probs won't work as remote shutter without the cable (which FiTP might sell you)

It works just fine both with flash and remote shutter release. The cable that came with my RF602's that operates the remote shutter release is 3 pin on both ends.

If you have the right cable for the 7D it will work fine - 3-pin jobbie as Jon says.

If you have a cable for your 450D, I think that is different. Not certain of this, but don't the XX0-series Canons use a jack plug?
