Yes
Im about to get my first flash unit and apart from the built in wireless on the mark lll are there any other differences on this 2 units? and I thought if I was to use wireless on the flash gun with rf-603 they come as a pack of 2 so I'm thinking is it kinda pointless getting the mark lll!?

Well it allows the rf-603's to be a wireless shutter release for off camera flash if you get the III

You mount one 603 on camera and connect wire to camera. Then you can use second 603 to remote control camera/flash...
If you won't be remote controlling camera, then you just use the one 603 on camera for triggering the flash.

It's a seriously cool concept and it's a blessing to work with. No cables/receivers on flash, just place it where you want and shoot! :D

Ok I ordered the Yongnuo YN 560 III and should receive it in the next few days. Any tips on using it from those who have one would be gratefully received as I'm new to flash photography. Thank you all.

Neil explains much better than me... :D http://neilvn.com/tangents/practical-tutorial-manual-flash-exposure/

Btw. be careful if you fire it at full power! Got a big shock first time...
Luckily it almost never is necessary, as I only use it for a slight fill light. Typical running it at 1/8 power...

And another btw., you'll probably at some point miss a remote control of power output, so keep an eye out for the upcoming Yongnuo remote.
The flash have S1, S2, RF mode and a mysterious "--" mode, which is for the new remotes...

Good luck! and don't hesitate to ask!

I've ended up quite liking the buildt-in... but diffusers are given out for almost free on eBay! :D

My speedlite turned up today yayeee. stupid questions time haw do I use multi mode? eg; 5x or so and at what Hz do I use it? :-(

If you're asking me, I'm sorry not being able to help. Have never been in multi mode...
But of course experiments are free! :D

For what use do you select multi mode?

I've never seen it used by a photographer, but in the manuals for the flash guns, multiple flashes during a single exposure, not sure any speed light is actually powerful enough to do it properly.

Cheers had a look and watched some youtube videos. It looks interesting.
