2 has a devillish quality about it!

no 2 please for me, sharp focus, good use of DOF, nicely framed

no 1 has chopped the top of the slice (and the box its stood inside), and also lost the reflection of the heart cutter on the right. And the browny red reflection on what is mainly a grayscale image stands out.

Agree with all the above on 1, it just don't work

2 I like alot good tones, good DOF,

This style of picture I'd be very inclined to use as wall art.

The only real thing that lets it down for me and this is being very picky is the
light colured specs in the fore ground I guess there from the work top these distract from the subject for me.
