As it was such a nice day on Tuesday, I thought I'd make the most of it and head out to the hill of Wales to catch some metal birds in flight. After a very slow start to the day, the afternoon made up for it. :)

What camera and glass combo you use for these
 
IV(R) Sqn are night flying this week and next, so anticipate a slow start from the T2s each day. Nice catch of a platform T2 in SCN7. We had a '9 pay us a visit at Centre Parcs this afternoon.

I have a Canon 5D Mk2 with a Canon 300mm f2.8.

Cheers Cheesy. We knew it would be a slow day with all the night flying going on, along with all the cuts etc. To be honest I was expecting my first blank, but the weather was so good I was quite happy sat on the top of the mountain all day. :D
