young squirrel

i usually take a walk at a local park around lunch time. i saw this young squirrel munching on some food. having a 60mm wasn't the best lens for the job, so i had to move in closer.

sure enough, the little guy didn't like being bothered and ran up a tree.
he was back-lighted, but i took a snap anyway.

a little fill light from lightroom brought out the details nicely w/o blowing out the background nor introducing unacceptable noise.

that makes lightroom something i should have...is it a plug in for ps

lightroom is a separate application, also from adobe.
i'm sure you can do the same in PhotoShop.

i think it's also due to the sensor in the d7000 (and k5). it has very low dark noise.
