Up until now, I have mainly been using a 50L at weddings for almost the whole day, only swapping to a longer lens if I need the reach (e.g. ceremony) or if space is really, really tight (e.g. bride getting ready, group shots in space restricted areas).
I usually just take a well padded Lowepro backpack with all my stuff in it and lay it out somewhere in my line of sight so I can go and grab stuff as and when needed.
However, I've parted with my 50L and will now be mainly using a 35L/85L split. Consequently, I envisage doing quite a bit more lens swapping on a typical day; I do have 2 bodies, but at the moment one is only a 5D and the other a 5D3, I prefer to only go to the 5D in emergencies.
I'm eyeing up the Think Tank Retrospective Lens Changer 3 as it looks really good, but does anyone have any other suggestions or experience with such bags? I'd probably take my current bag too with my bodies, other accessories etc and leave that somewhere safe, but have my camera on a sling and the 3-lens bag on my other side for the majority of the day.
