not now, but a few years back woolies were a huge deal and 'buy woolworths shares' was an expression synomonous with 'safe as houses' til they went bust

End of the day no company is 100% safe anymore, even the big boys - its like say 1.34 per share is the value of the real estate asset - but how much of that asset is leveraged and borrowed against ? you could easily find that the actual value of the remaining asset is negligible
