Edit My Images
Yes
Hi everyone,

Decided as I have finally got my internet connection back up and running to get a new website together.

Wanted to make it simple and clear. But having trouble working out what to put on the main page and write about myself :suspect:

Also havent finished uploading my images into all the categories.

Please any comments on how I could improve or what you would write would be very much appreciated :)

Quite like that, really like the colour scheme. Nice and clean. Very accessible and fast loading. Could do with more content and bigger images, but it's a good base to work from. I'd like to see more consistency in the thumbnail sizes and dimensions just to make it all fit together.

Nice one.

You're in Glasgow?

It's nice. Under the gallery section, it might look better if all the images are the same size, so the page doesn't keep resizing, or maybe incorporate some JavaScript for the images.

Looks to be the same template as i've used on my website (link in sig) - can i ask where you got the template from?

Thanks, I like the simple look. Yes I tried to get the thumbnails to look the same (not very hard) but will give it another shot. Thanks very much.

Yes studying in Glasgow but staying outside. Commuting is a :bang:

It looks exactly the same! I purchased the website from Clikpic and just used one of their templates. Might try and use some Java script then. Thanks

Is it supposed to sit on the very left of the screen?

I think it is supposed to sit on the left, I quite like it that way? I may try and centre it to see how it looks, thanks.

It's tricky for me to give any decent advice, because I know there isn't that much you can change, my Dad was running that template on his Clikpic site, it looks simple and I guess it's effective. I know it's a Clikpic site and that puts me off a little bit.

Yes it sort of worries me that it isnt very original compared to most. Im just hoping it will do for the meantime, at least until I finished my course and decided what type of photography I would like to pursue, cheers!

This is always the problem with sites like this. People use templates, and eventually those templates get popular.

I think you're right in that it will do for now, you should perhaps get some ideas together for a truly custom website further down the line.

I've never used any of these kind of sites, what's the deal? Do you get a choice of templates? How much customisation can you do?

Well its something I definitely want to learn in the future, web design, however too busy with the photography side of things :D

With Clikpic you get 10 different templates and 6 different colours with each of them, some of them are terrible but this one is actually called "simple" which is how I liked it.
