Hi Guys

Does anyone own a Zenith 80 or know what lens mount the camera uses?

I have the opportunity to buy a Zenith 80 lens and fancy experimenting with mounting it onto a Nikon camera, so need to find an adaptor, but I can't find any details on the mount it uses, expect that it might be an early hasselblad copy.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Both mention it with the Salyut S as being the same mount with some modification. Hasselblad as you said, modified how I don't know.

B bayonet mount is the starting point to look at i think.
On the back of that you will need a KP88/N mount (again i think).

Check first though as the mount adaptor may not be correct but im pretty psitive on the lens mount

Thanks guys. I might pass on this particular lens as it looks a bit more complex than a straight forward adapter. No worries through as there are loads of others to choose from.
I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong ... but its my understanding that adapting any lens to a Nikon will require "more than a straight forward adapter" (i.e. an. adapter with correction lenses) as the flange distances in a Nikon is amongst the largest of any 35mm sized camera.
