Had a shoot with Zoe Margo last week to try out a couple of small modifications in the studio. Interested to see if these appeal...

1. Overhead beauty dish with triflector below, background lit with gridded small reflector shot through a venetian blind:

2. Same as 1 but heavily desaturated colour:

3. Gridded beauty dish high camera left, small gridded reflector at floor level to light pink paper background through smoke:

4. Lupolux LED Fresnel keylight high camera left, Arri 300 (with blue gel to balance with Lupo) as hairlight. Trying out new brick wallpaper on background:

Yep, #2 and #4 for me. Great compositions, sharp and very engaging eye contact. The veil in #2 just gives a hint of mystery, if that doesn't sound to 'arty'!
