Thanks for the comments. I got my adaptor of Ebay. Just a cheap AF confirm for about 15 quid or so.

mine was also a AF confirm but it was upsetting my camera display, things were flashing all over the place! I ripped it off and it's SO much better. I use Live view to focus.

How much did you pay for your lens Lee?

Hi Andy,

I paid 500 of Ebay. Focus ring is a bit vauge and sticky. Seems okay otherwise.
Not a cheap lens.

Need more practice.

Blimey! You're right, that's not cheap BUT it's a very good lens and if it get's you the image quality you want then thats ok. Mine was £65 which in my opinion is a steal!!
