VPN for travelling

I'm off on a trip I'll be taking my surface pro with me (running Win 11). I'll be using public wi-fi and also would quite like to be able to watch my UK Netflix so I'm looking for a reliable VPN that will supports those use cases. I won't be using it for gaming or particularly big transfers but fast is always nice.

Any recommendations? I've just uninstalled Paladin because every time I start it, Windows Defender gets excited. I'd certainly rather pay for something than have one that's actually harvesting my details

I use Surfshark which works well for me. You can buy an annual subscription or just a month for your trip.

I use surfshark too, if you do decide to buy have a look at cashback sites for some additional savings.
