This thread is huge and for a newbie like me quite a read....So I have taken the liberty of doing something I've seen on a car forum.

I have created an account HERE The pasword is

talkphoto

People can add there locations (roughly not too exactly) and other details. It seams a quicker way to find people than trawling through the thread.

red for Canon
black for Nikon....

oh - and can you change colours once you're in?
 
Ye you can when the bubble comes up with your details click your name and you get the original editing screen

I put in the postcode but it's put me pin in the wrong place

I think you may need to put your postcode in to get an exact position. If you feel comfortable doing that.
 
Added myself. The pointer missed me by about a mile but it's close enough to give people the idea.
