    Critique Poole Harbour Sunset

First time I've posted here for ages. Many years back I did tons of macro (water droplets), but have stepped more into landscape recently. I find subjects and creativity very difficult... preferring "easy" seascapes and long exposures - classic shots with little creativity needed. This is a...

Critique Water droplets - towers and crowns

Some very nice first tries! With a bit of fiddling and a good set up you could get some lovely collisions I am sure! Have a look at my set-up I wrote a few years back for my personal technique yo lighting and collisions :)

Boscombe Pier - Mono long exposure

Thanks very much :) Right, or left? Looks slower on the L (as you look at it) to me... either way, it's just the way the clouds were, the clouds are one shot, about 3 mins I think.

Boscombe Pier - Mono long exposure

Thanks! Yes, the stupid thing was: I saw the dust bunny on camera after taking the shots, made a mental note to remove it in PP. Then I saw it while doing PP - made a mental note to remove it from the (separate) sky layer.... then forgot  I just removed the spot and added to Flickr, see...

Boscombe Pier - Mono long exposure

Thanks! :) I've got a nice sturdy tripod, so once it was in place it was ok. Thanks also! Yes I would agree there - perhaps that's why it's not quite "sitting" with me... Thanks also :)

    Coniston Water

Sorry, my bad... once clicked, I can see it. I really like the non-blurred! Really nice image!

Boscombe Pier - Mono long exposure

It's been so long since I've been doing any proper photography... other commitments, lack of enthusiasm I guess. What are your thoughts on this?

    Coniston Water

    I can't see anything? :-/

    Coniston Water

Can we see it without the blur? :)

    Coniston Water

I love number 2! Did you add grassian blur to the left side artificially though?

    Scarbrough Sunset

No. Two easy options: 1. Make a new layer on photoshop and put a line there, edit until straight to the line, save without the line. 2. Open the Jpeg in CameraRAW (using Bridge) and then use the Straightening tool.
